Shakespeare’s Birthday is today 23rd April

The celebrations this year took place in Stratford upon Avon and were a fantastic success helped by the glorious sunshine. Thousands were out in the town
center to watch the Shakespeare Birthday Procession featuring the Ceremony of the Quill and the release of 449 balloons—one for each year since Shakespeare’s birth—as well as the traditional unfurling of the flags of the nations. One surprise guest this weekend was BIANCA JAGGER, internationally renowned human rights campaigner and ex-wife of Rolling Stone Sir Mick Jagger.
