Gilt by internationally acclaimed artist Hew Locke is present on the portico and will welcome visitors to our entrance for the next two years. 🤩
Originally made for and installed on the facade of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 2022-23. It's the first time that this incredible art will be displayed in the UK. 🙌
The sculptures raise complex questions of: competition, victory and power.
This is a truly eye-catching and unique series of works which we feel incredibly lucky to have with us at Compton Verney.
