Standing in a freshly harvested wheat store, smells like freshly baked bread and is absolutely glorious, wish I could send you a sniff.
But it also reminds me of a saying "separate the wheat from the chaff." It means to distinguish valuable, useful things from those that are worthless. The chaff is the leaves surrounding the grain.
