Knightcote is a small village in the heart of Warwickshire. The origin of the name dates back to 1242 when Ralph de Knightcote held it for ½ a Knights fee. It is situated in the parish of Burton Dassett which is mentioned in the Doomsday book as a large Norman settlement. Evidence of this can be seen in the church, which is one of the grandest in the Midlands . Also on the hills is the beacon tower, built as a late medieval look out and used in the civil war (1642) to signal neighbouring edge hill.
New House Farm, is a 600 acre working arable farm. The main crops are Winter Wheat, Winter Barley, Winter and Spring Oil seed rape, Winter and Spring field beans, peas and linseed. Animals are limited on our farm. However we do have two lovable Border collie dogs who love to play ball. We do sometimes have our neighbours sheep to graze in the front paddock.
You can freely walk down the farm trail and enjoy the peace and quiet or just sit and enjoy the view and watch as the fish feed by the model boating lake.

The farm also has an impressive collection of 17 working vintage tractors dating from 1926, which includes five Bulldogs, one Macdonald, one HSCS, one Fendt, and three SFV. They are mostly hot bulb tractors, taking 30 minutes to start them using a gas burner.
There is a model railway club, where cottage occupants are given the kind privilege to view their extraordinary display on Thursday evenings.
